Known issues list

Just wanted to list off known issues while keeping the game page concise. I'll update this overtime.

Known issues(note that I cannot update this specific build as is):

  • Rendering scale do not change the player weapon models and compass. Already fixed for any future builds.
  • Low rendering scale can look blurry. I will implement sharpness sliders and contrast for future builds.
  • Enemy ambush function may not work as intended. There are two instances when it's employed so if you see an enemy just staying in idle mode, that's what is occuring. I will be doing away with it and just simply make them spawn off screen to give the illusion of a planned ambush but don't tell anyone that.
  • Enemies sometime aren't alerted even when their nearby commrades are. Avid players who stuck since the early days would know that there was so much worse issues relating to aggro and most are ironed out which only leave this very specific one left. Currently investigating this with promising results.
  • Enemies don't shoot the center mass of their non player targets. Fixed for future builds.
  • The text hitbox for the metal walls you can punch out is wonky. Fixed for future builds.
  • Two lore terminals has the same log file. Fixed for future builds.
  • Rebuilt the ammo system. Lower end machines could see a slight performance improvement.
  • Enemies movement pattern aren't spiced up enough. Ok this is more of a critique but I will address it here. I did added different functions and enemy behaviour in the code but there just wasn't any enemy in this roster that were designed for it with the exception of enemies using guns will strafe around you. I will make enemies with those in mind and I wanna take a closer to the strafe behaviour and from personal testing randomized movement is unwieldy so I will make further change to it. Keep in mind I am mainly one dev juggling a full tiem job so if I can't make fancy enemy Ai, so be it. I just hope to make something engaging is all.
